Hi there,
There seems to be a lot going on with my art these days, which is wonderful, so here’s the updates all in one place.
This Friday will be my hubby and my 15th wedding anniversary. I can’t believe it’s been that long already! To celebrate this milestone, I am offering free shipping on all items on my Etsy shop between now and Friday, May 10th, at midnight. When you check out, there is a box titled Coupon Code, enter “FreeShipping” in this box to get your items shipped for free.
The sterling silver wire wrapped pieces in my Etsy shop will be going up in price after Friday, May 10th.
I have a ton of light weight, easy to wear beaded earrings ($10/pair), bracelets in all sizes including larger ones ($15/each), and necklaces ($20/each) available right now. They are perfect for summer! They are at rock bottom prices.
I just renewed the SCA Peerage jewelry on my Etsy shop as well. They are currently at the absolute lowest prices I can manage (pretty much at cost), and I am seriously thinking of raising the price on them, especially the pendants on beaded necklaces. They are currently at $50.00 each, so get them while they’re hot.

I am working on new Vented Hats and painted hats, which should be up on my shop by the end of this summer. I am working on the Monarch Butterfly hat, a blue and black butterfly hat, one that will (hopefully) look like shelved leather books, a musical note hat, and a gear and “power cell” hat that came to me in a dream. Yes, really. Sometimes my art brain doesn’t turn off when the rest of me does at night.
This weekend, I purchased a new to me larger kiln, which will allow me to make ceramic platters. I am very excited about this prospect! Those will be coming in the fall/winter, as it’s simply too hot to work outside in the summers here in Arizona. All of my large ceramic work is done outside so I don’t bring the clay dust into the house. (Processed clay has silica in it. When breathed into the lungs, it can cause silicosis and cancer. I’d like to skip both of those.)
I need to buy shelves for the kiln, and they are expensive. Full shelves are $135 each, half shelves are $67 each. I need 3 full shelves and 2 half shelves to get started. (Yikes!) I am hoping for a prosperous summer so I can buy the shelves myself and not borrow money from the house budget. (Ah, the great dilemma of many an artist!)
I do have some pieces in the gallery Practical Art. They are located on Central about a block North of Camelback in central Phoenix. It’s an awesome little place with very talented artists. If you’re local, please stop in and tell them I sent you.

I still have a few small jewelry pieces up at Kitchen 56, just inside the front door. It is on the South East corner of Indian School Road and 56th Street in Phoenix. It’s in the Arcadia neighborhood, just between Phoenix and Scottsdale. Go in, have a peek at my pieces, then have a yummy meal.

Have a wonderful week!
